Job description

As a Senior Test Automation Engineer, you play a key role in ensuring the quality of business-critical applications. You design, build and maintain automated test solutions while working closely with developers, DevOps Engineers and Product Owners in Agile teams.

Beyond writing automated tests, you help improve development processes, strengthen quality standards and contribute to modern CI/CD practices.

Your responsibilities include:

  • Designing, developing and maintaining automated test frameworks.
  • Creating and executing functional, integration, API and end-to-end tests.
  • Integrating automated testing into CI/CD pipelines.
  • Analyzing test results and identifying the root cause of defects.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams throughout the software development lifecycle.
  • Improving test strategies, frameworks and quality processes.
  • Supporting performance, stability and reliability of complex software solutions.
  • Sharing knowledge and contributing to engineering best practices across teams.

Qualifications

We believe you'll be a great fit if you have:

  • At least 5 years of experience in API Testing using Java en Cucumber..
  • A bachelor's or master's degree, preferably in Computer Science, Software Engineering or another IT-related field.
  • Experience with API testing using Rest Assured or similar tools.
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD environments using tools such as Jenkins or Azure DevOps.
  • Experience with Git, Maven, JUnit and SQL.
  • Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes and modern cloud-native environments.
  • Experience working in Agile or DevOps teams.
  • Excellent communication skills in English, both written and spoken.
  • A proactive mindset and a strong focus on software quality and continuous improvement.
