Job description

As a Mendix Developer, your focus is on building, improving and shaping enterprise-grade applications that support core banking processes. This is not a support role, but a role centered on creating real systems that keep the organization running.

On a typical Monday morning, you might be:

• Designing integrations via REST APIs with external systems
• Aligning technical choices with architects and product owners
• Deploying updates within a CI/CD pipeline

Your responsibilities include:

• Developing, testing and implementing Mendix applications in an enterprise environment
• Translating functional needs into robust, scalable technical solutions
• Collaborating within agile (Scrum/Kanban) multidisciplinary teams
• Managing and optimizing existing Mendix applications with a focus on performance, stability and usability
• Contributing to technical standards, best practices and innovation within the low-code landscape

Qualifications

Must-haves

• 3+ years of Mendix development experience in enterprise environments
• Mendix Advanced or Expert Developer certification
• Strong experience developing, testing and deploying applications
• Experience with REST APIs and system integrations
• Agile experience (Scrum or Kanban) in multidisciplinary teams
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to align with both technical and business stakeholders
• Based in the Netherlands
• Fluent in Dutch and/or English

Nice-to-haves

• Experience within banking or another regulated enterprise environment
• Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
• Cloud experience (AWS, Azure or Mendix Cloud)
• Performance optimization and application lifecycle management
• Knowledge of security standards and secure development practices
